Description:

This apparatus measures the pH value, acidity, and conductivity of gases emitted during the combustion of materials from cables or optical cables. It is used to determine the total halogen acid gas content in low-halogen and halogen-free flame-retardant cables and to assess gas acidity through pH and conductivity measurements.

1. Tubular Furnace:

Heating Chamber: Effective length: 600mm; Diameter: Ø42mm.

Heating System: Adjustable electric heating system; Power: 220V/10KW (see Figure 1).

2. Combustion Tube:

Material: Corrosion-resistant silica refractory tube.

Dimensions: Inner diameter: 40mm; Protrusion length at inlet: 60–200mm; Protrusion length at outlet: 60–100mm (allowing for thermal expansion).

3. Combustion Boat:

Material: Fused quartz tube.
