Corrosion Test for Coating of Motorcycle Baffle

It is a pretty nice experience to meet customer from Pakistan on 15/Aug. to discuss the corrosion test for motorcycle baffle by Haida's Salt Spray Test Chamber.

Due to tight flight, we drove to Guangzhou and had a very short meeting with Mr. Asim and his father before the flight time.

Mr. Asim brought a baffle sample from Pakistan (size: 762*127*356mm), the sample needs to be place vertically inside Salt Spray Chamber as it’s installed in 45°direction on motorcycle.

So, it requests us to recommend a Salt Spray Chamber with the most suitable dimension, which is large enough to put the sample but with favorable price.

Salt Spray Chamber requires drops of solution which accumulate on the ceiling or cover of the chamber shall not be permitted to fall on the specimens being exposed. So the chamber adopts a slop ceiling to avoid the drips as per standard ASTM B117, which makes the chamber with degressive height from the most centre to both sides.

Base on the placement method of sample and machine structure, we proposed Haida model HD-E808-120 to customer with internal dimension 1200W*1000D*500Hmm. It can test 4pcs motorcycle baffle with size 762*127*356mm at the same time, which saves testing time also.

For guarantee the recommended model is perfectly meet the test, we took back one pc baffle to factory for trail test, and showed Mr. Asim the operation video for confirmation.
